Some of our clients ask about our music library (I like to call them Music assets since we spend money on them and we own them) and how current we keep our collection. There are several subscription services where we purchase music and music videos: Promo Only, ERG, and Funkymix. Those companies require that you are a working DJ and provide proof in order to subscribe.
In addition, I purchase music from Strictly Hits, 9 Inch Remix, Beatport, Amazon.com, Best Buy, several used CD record shops, Gramaphone Records in Chicago, Bill's Records, Hard To Find Records out of the UK, Satelitte Records in New York.
I mostly purchase MP3s or Cds. Although, every once in a while I'll buy Vinyl records (Yes, they still make vinyl records). There are alot of restrictions (DRM) when you purchase music from i-Tunes, so I don't buy from i-Tunes unless it is an extreme emergency.
