At Groovy Sound Productions, we provide quality and value at a reasonable price. We often lose business to guys that put a LOW number in front of a prospective client and then charge extra money for the things that we feel should be included in the price.

Many of our competitors charge extra money for: Microphones, extra speakers, speakers, ability to take requests, backup equipment, set up fees, take down of equipment fees, and "by the minute pricing".

I see these guys advertising and showing a "Cheap DJ price" initially. Our competition often charges by the minute (a little bit of sarcasm here). This is not a problem with Groovy Sound Productions. We provide an "all-inclusive price" also known as an "event fee".

If the DJ puts a "low price" in front of you but the price seems to increase as they learn more about your requirements you might beware of "Cheap DJs that give Bait and Switch Pricing".  I would ask them "What other surprises do you have for me about your service?". If our competition is NOT honest with you now about their pricing, just wait until the night of the event for more surprises. Bait and switch pricing model will eventually catch up to you and your reputation. That is why we DO NOT focus on being the Cheap DJ.

These are the guys that say "Thank You, Drive Thru" and are not concerned about the longevity of their clientel.
